Policies

  • Cancellation Policy

Here at UL, we know that your time is very important and we do hope in return that you appreciate our time is as well. We ask that if you should need to cancel or reschedule, that you provide us with a minimum 24 hours notice for regular salon and spa appointments and 48 hours for clinical spa appointments, spa packages, side-by-side services and larger hair services. We understand that sometimes cancellations are simply unavoidable. If you cancel last minute, “no show” or are excessively late for an appointment more than 2 times, we will require a credit card on file for all future bookings and “no shows” or last minute cancellations will be charged the full cost of the service you had reserved.

  • Arrival

Please let us know if you have any allergies prior to the start of your appointment.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointments. If you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. It happens, we know! However, your lateness can affect the remainder of our teams’ day by delaying them for their clients who come in on time. For this reason, we have set a few general ground rules for such situations. Clients will generally be allowed a 5-10 minute grace period. However, shorter duration appointments such as waxing/tinting will not be able to be performed if you are more than 5 minutes late.

Arriving late can limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. Your Spa experience is your time, and you should delight in it to the fullest

  • Booking

Please give us a call at 250-416-0418, or email us at info@ulsalonspa.com. Our Guest Services team will be happy to assist you with making your booking and answering any questions you may have. We do ask that you do not message us to book over Facebook Messenger or Instagram.

For clinical spa services, group bookings, spa packages and larger hair services, we do require a credit card and/or deposit to hold the reservation. For these specific scenarios, last minute cancellation or “no shows” will result in your deposit being void.

  • Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates and pre purchased service series are non-refundable, have no cash value and are valid for that specific service(s) for one year. After one year, Gift Certificates issued for services or service series will be valid for the dollar value remaining.

The dollar value for any Gift Certificate never expires.

  • Payment

We gladly accept Cash, Debit Card (Interac), Visa, Master Card, American Express and *Urban Legends Gift Cards as payment. Prices do not include applicable taxes or gratuities.

    *

  • Gratuity

Gratuities (or tips) are not included in our prices. While gratuity is optional at your discretion, it is kindly appreciated by our staff.

  • Children

In order for you and our other guests to fully enjoy their experience, we ask that you arrange child care prior to your time with us. Neither our staff nor you can be responsible for your child while you receive services. Age appropriate children may sit by themselves quietly in the waiting area.

  • Minimum Age

In order for our guests to be able to fully relax and enjoy their experience, we are not able to accommodate children under the age of 12 in our spa. This includes our Spa waiting area.

Youth who are 16 and under must have a parent/guardian signature to receive any Clinical Services, Dermaplaning or Hydrafacials.

Children under the age of 10 attending our salon for services must have a parent/guardian present for their appointment.

  • Spa Etiquette

If this is your first visit with us, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. This will allow enough time to fill out a brief medical history questionnaire and use the restroom facilities if needed.

To be respectful to other guests and to preserve the harmony within the spa, kindly use your “spa voices” and please refrain from talking on your cell phones. We ask that you either turn off any electronic devices or switch them to silent mode to avoid disrupting any treatments being enjoyed nearby.

If you are booked in for a pedicure service, please bring open-toed shoes to wear after your service.
