Urban Legends is looking for a Hairstylist to join our team!

Established in 2004, Urban Legends’ goal has always been to offer exceptional, quality services and products for our clients, and a friendly, stable business for people to work, thrive, and practice their craft. We’ve seen many changes over the past 22 years and are excited for this new season of business that 2026 brings.

With that new season comes new needs of our clients. Our clients are the heartbeat of UL’s existence. The life-long connections we’ve made with such wonderful people make it a joy to come to work. Being able to provide the quality of service and experience they expect is paramount.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hairstylist with 4+ years of salon experience

  • Strong skills with various cutting, blowdry styling, colouring and highlighting techniques

  • Ability to perform confident consultations, make a plan, and follow through

  • Ability to deliver consistent results that clients love and come back for

  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude

What We Offer:

  • $25-$50+ hourly wage based on experience, education, ability to retain a clientele.

    We compensate our staff with exceptional hourly wages opposed to commission. This means you are getting paid whether you are booked with clients or not. This makes a big impact on our team culture and client experience! No one is rushing through clients in order to make more money, and you don’t have to worry about the lost income from cancellations or no-shows. You get paid the same wage to help at reception as you do when performing services. As long as you are here contributing to the team, you get paid.
