Urban Legends is looking for a Hairstylist to join our team!

We are a friendly and professional team that go above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for our clients. Established in 2004, we’ve built up a reputation of delivering exceptional results that work for each client’s lifestyle and budget. Because of our reputation and location, we are referred new amazing clients often and need a new experienced hairstylist to serve them.

Our clients are looking for a hairstylist to truly listen to them and exceed their expectations, and we hope that that is you!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hairstylist with 5+ years of salon experience

  • Strong skills with various cutting, blowdry styling, colouring and highlighting techniques

  • Ability to perform confident consultations, make a plan, and follow through

  • Ability to deliver consistent results that clients love and come back for

  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude

What We Offer:

  • $25-$50+ hourly wage based on experience, education, ability to retain a clientele

  • Off on Weekends, Stat Holidays, and between Christmas & New Years

  • Custom weekly schedule that works for your work-life balance

  • Consistent clientele and strong demand for services

  • Tips & Seasonal Bonuses: Our team enjoys a high % of tips. While not obligatory, our clients are generous based on quality of service. UL pays CPP and EI based on your wage + tips so you get maximum benefits.

  • Staff Pricing on all products and services like Laser Hair Removal, Facials, Waxing, Botox, Filler, and more!

    We compensate our staff with exceptional hourly wages opposed to commission. This means you are getting paid whether you are booked with clients or not. This makes a big impact on our team culture and client experience! No one is rushing through clients in order to make more money, and you don’t have to worry about the lost income from cancellations or no-shows. You get paid the same wage to help at reception as you do when performing services. As long as you are here contributing to the team, you get paid.
